Hawk attacks girl on Fenway tour –edit: The girl’s name is Alexa Rodriguez. I kid you not. A-Rod attacked at Fenway Park. Too good to be true? Perhaps. It appears we have a second entry for the “Winning one back for the animals” file. The red-tailed hawk had built its nest near the press box and the girl came too close for the bird’s comfort. The hawk was filmed in the park earlier in the week.
6-year-old accused of sexual harassment at school –I don’t know which is funnier: a kindergarten student calling his teacher “a hottie” or the fact that the boy’s name is Malory. Is this really that big of an issue to this teacher? Let’s call it a compliment and be done with it.
Japanese university to offer course on Fuji-ology — I think this is a great idea–combining geology, environmental science, and conservation studies. Apparantly Mt. Fuji is overrun with garbage, too. The University of Washington should take a hint a
nd offer St. Helensology.
North Korea to transform embassy in Berlin into hotel (right)– North Korea will apparently use the profits to fund the state. A hotel, funding a national government? Worth a shot. Too bad they won’t show the blueprints to the Berlin authorities.
Gun owner shot on couch with his own gun — 9-year-old son accidentally shoots father in the neck–we call this Constitutional Justice. Sure the second amendment gives you the right to keep twenty guns in your bedroom, but it won’t protect you from your own kids when you leave them loaded and unsecured. Seriously, there are so many more bad things that can happen than good in that situation.
US Intelligence: Chinese spying on the rise — Everyone else: US governmental hypocrisy on the rise
